The current Project will create a green infrastructure feature to prevent issues related to ponding of runoff from the adjacent roadway and paths within Bronx Park near the Rosewood Playground, an area that becomes flooded during periods of heavy rain and can create health issues due to mosquitoes breeding in the standing water. The consultant will evaluate the site, design the green infrastructure installation, and supervise the construction. Construction will be carried out by staff of the Bronx River Alliance.
