Request for Proposal - In-Market Representative in Sub-Saharan Africa

My name is Teresa Miller and I am contacting you on behalf of the four State Regional Trade Groups (SRTGs): Food Export Association of the Midwest USA (Food Export - Midwest) and Food Export USA Northeast (Food Export - Northeast), Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) and Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA).
SRTGs are U.S. non-profit, export associations whose primary function is to develop export markets for U.S. producers and processors of value-added food, agricultural and seafood products. We are seeking one or more individuals/companies to be their In-Market Representative and assist in the execution of responsibilities pursuant to their market development activities for processed foods in the Sub-Saharan market, with a focus on East Africa, or other specific markets based on potential opportunities.
Please find attached a copy of the Request for Proposal. If interested, please provide a proposal for the attached RFP, include a fee for each of the services listed. The deadline for all proposals is noon ET, Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

The selected In-Market Representative(s) will be responsible for the aforementioned activities during our 2023 Program Year from January 1 to December 31, 2023. Previous experience with value-added food and seafood products is strongly desired.
