The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Sam Houston Contracting is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify qualified sources prior to the release of any potential solicitation for full service maintenance of the following:
1) Hologic, Papanicolaou Smear Monolayer Sample Preparation System, Thin Prep 2000

2) Contractor Manpower Reporting
a. Provide Contractor Manpower Reporting
The contractor's capability statement shall prove their Total Care maintenance service agreement to include all resources, labor, travel, transportation, parts, materials, equipment, and management necessary to keep the medical equipment in good operating condition and to perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
It is anticipated that the proposed this equipment will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, PCS - J065, Medical Maintenance and Repair of Medical, Dental and Veterinary, size standard of $20,500,000.
