City of Gastonia Request for Proposals: Consulting Services for Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area (NRSA): Marietta Street Corridor

The City of Gastonia is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms with expertise in Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Areas (NRSA) and a strong understanding of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. The selected consultant will support the City in pursuing NRSA designation for the Marietta Street Corridor (Census tract 328.01) under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Proposals should demonstrate the consultant's ability to develop a comprehensive revitalization plan for the Marietta Street Corridor that addresses the needs of the low- to moderate-income residents in the area. The plan must include a structured community engagement process to ensure that local needs and priorities are reflected. Proposal submissions are due by 10:00 AM on Friday, November 1, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
